    Maximum Canvas Size

I showed ArtRage to an Architect yesterday on Tablet PC. He wanted to know whether ArtRage would work with an A2 canvas at 300dpi! I searched here and in the help file for the maximum canvas size with no luck. What is it?

He can't have 300dpi on screen anyway. So what pixel size is required for a good 300dpi A2 print?

A A2 document with 300 dpi is not far than 5000x7000 pixels and ArtRage can work with this size.
Layer creation is a little long and if you use big brushes it can be slow but for normal brush sizes it work like a charm here

The maximum size depends on how much memory you have.
Note that in the upcoming ArtRage 2.2 release, we'll have more efficient memory handing, so you'll be able to have more layers on larger documents.

"Sure - how hard can it be?"
