Garden Flower Stencils (Realistic Line Drawings) May '09

Hi all! These are my best stencils of May 2009, originally made as digital sketches of my stock photos for use as stencils with ArtRage 2.5. Shared at my deviant art account in a fat zip file as jpegs for you to play with (choose download option in the left corner of screen).
33 files included; collage here represents a few.

Beautiful Foxy.. I don't have enough time in my life to use all the stencils you keep providing. I hope I live long enough to even use a small portion of them! Hugs, and xox

    Tutorial

    Hi foxytocin!

Do you have a tutorial how to make those stencils?

I admire the high quality of them.

Is it much work to convert a photography into a stencil?

    Regards.

Hello! Glad you all like them!
Narf, I apologize, but I can't really make a tutorial here because I have a small piece of software that does all the work. I use a program called IntoCartoon Pro to convert my photos to black and white "sketch" images and then save them as jpegs. I like this program quite a bit. I don't have a fancy graphics editor/illustrator program and this little Intocartoon Pro covers quite a few bases. Like ArtRage, it doesn't cost much, isn't very big, and allows you to easily customize the level of alteration of an image.
I could then convert them to pngs, but my computer set-up is not very fancy and I don't have enough power and memory to hold so many large files.
As to which images make the best stencils, I'm still learning....it depends mostly on the project that I have in mind. One thing that I like about stencils is that you can easily pick just a part of the stencil to use....a large picture of a garden, for instance, can provide any number of "solo" stencil images.

I hope I have been able to help you?

I am new to ArtRage, and I bought it today. But can I ask how I can get those stencils into it? They don't appear up. Is it because they are JPG?

EDIT: Never mind, figured it out. Beautiful stencils, thank you for sharing them.
