Thank goodness they put that warning there, otherwise you might've ingested a nut when you didn't expect too while eating your peanuts. Hey, wait a minute...

Though if I had to guess, in all seriousness, I'd assume it was meant to warn people that there may be trace amounts of other nut types in the bag (but I'm sure everyone knew this already). Still, they never can be to careful. Look at what happened to McDonald's before they started marking cups of coffee with a warning stating, "Hey moron, this HOT coffee is going to be HOT".

I believe the "Nut Traces" would be in reference to the people who designed the package...That's to funny!

You never can be too careful in this world of sue happy people.. yes, those are the nut traces... someone who would actually sue because there wasn't a warning on the bag of NUTS that there were NUT TRACES inside. My gosh, this is going WAY too far! I'm glad it didn't say Warning: There are traces of E.coli in this bag. LOL... it may come down to that.

    Danger Will Robertson. Danger.

In the U.S.A. you can buy any number of ice cream brands that have no dairy products whatsoever. And a host of other similar stuff just as insane. I suspect it's true in most of the world. Usually after reading the fine print for most stuff my wife and I end up putting it back on the display counter rather than in the shopping basket. It seems only about 10% of what you find in the supermarket is fit for human consumption.
