    Starling

    Here's what I am working on at the moment, well to be fair I'm nearly finished I just have to work some more on the branch No ref for the branch but I used a ref for the birdy one of my own photos which you can see here

    What a great painting, Bumble... the detailing is quite impressive, and I like the composition. His beak pointing one way, the branch the other... interesting!

    Dear Bumble, that is so pretty!!! you know, the Starling does not have the reputation of being the most colorful bird, herds of them swoop down and make scratchy noises, graze around and poke holes in the ground and then woosh! they are gone, drab until the sun hits them the right way and walla!!! there are those colors you captured!!! good job!!!
