    Kvar Cathedral II - WIP

Next I hope I'll post the final one in the Gallery.
I'm using free hand (no ruler etc.) and buildings are all on the second layers.

good one i just can imagine was going on .

it was a sunny day, a small wind was blowing, pushing the cloud slowly in the sky. the bells where making a loud sound , chanting around that it was time to lunch.

Caesar, youre making excellent progress! Its going to be a beauty!

I never use a ruler either--in fact, Im not even sure how you go about opening it up.
The only problem with humor is that no one takes it seriously.

Thank You Case! I'm really glad You already start feeling into this painting. The wheather, the atmosphere and the smells and sounds You describe are attractively completing this painting and make me think I succeded to depart from the reference picture (herebelow) which is a colder and more aseptic, vapid image of the subject!

Thanks Rick! It's not Tuscany You like so much, but it still has to do with Italian architectures and the long Venitian domination along the opposite coast of the Adriatic sea!

Thank You Weembaman! I hope Puddy too got it from her flying saucer!

Thanks Scott! I do know how to use rulers on the contrary, but I prefered to avoid recourse to it as much as possible (I already infringed a rule of mine by roughly tracing the main outlines because it's upon one of my bros request). I think there's a more natural feeling to keep into human precision limits for an art-like painting.

Sure You do since You did put some pressure on me to this purpose, dear SCP! I'm kidding. Thank You my friend!

I'll do my best for an happy ending then, dear Mark B.! Thanks a lot!

Thank You Jim! Interesting times when cathedral represented the individual skills as well as the collective effort of a town to show its importance, capabilities, power and still be able to humbly and collectively thanking the Allmighty and His Saints for the blessing it got from Him. A joint celebration of the Mankind beyond that of the most illustrious Men and Women, and especially of their Creator!
