    Imax 3D recommendation

If you have the opportunity to see Imax 3D "Under the sea" I highly recommend it, it is completely mind blowing, and could keep you busy with painting inspiration for years.

It seems to me that the 3D has taken a step forward here, it was like having these creatures 3 inches in front of your eyes in dazzling clarity. I could have sworn one of the sealions could have slurped me on the nose!
I grumped a bit at the $15 a piece price, but was ready to go back again soon after it was over.

So is this using 3D with glasses?

I remember seeing several of them, down near the Museum of Science & Industry -- Grand Canyon fly over, another on different kinds of light (I think Isaac Newton dividing & analyzing it with a prism, with another segment of the Northern Lights etc), and maybe an underwater one, though I can't recall now. It was a long time ago. Anyway, I was impressed by the resolution of the film. It was something that techno-geeks would love.

But 3D intrigues me what they did with it. And if any film is in IMAX, pushing the envelope would probably actually push the envelope. It's what they have been doing for a long while.

You wear glasses but they aren't like the old type.
Of course, after seeing all this amazing stuff, it is pointed out how climate change is killing it all, so that is the downer part.
Its still worth it. The images i saw on the website Hans found look a bit like the movie, but the visual is nothing like the film.
