Nice work and a cute pup. Shar Pei? They have a lot of inbred congenital problems.

it's a bulldog, actually. mama had 4 pups in october and lost one in the first couple of weeks. my friend had to bottle feed this little guy, so she's very close to him. his littermates are huge and he can't even stand up.

here's some work on the grass. i'm horrible at plant life, maybe i can find a stencil for grass, hmmmmm.

I've heard of Miracle Whip. I've heard of a buggy whip. But a puppy wip is too cruel. . . and such a cute puppy too.

That eye sells it. It's awesome. The grass is soft, and not completely like the grass I know. But it fits in with the softness of the tones in the puppy's body.

I'm not really looking at the background anyway. Brilliant job on the dog. He (she) really lives -- so much so that I put all my shoes in the closet and closed the door.

    Super job earthmama!

I love dogs and bulldogs are among my favorites. Even when in the best of health, they have a relatively short life span. Maybe this dear pup will make it with your friend´s care.
The only problem with humor is that no one takes it seriously.
