    Cartoony elephant and bee

    Hello,
Would like feedback on this one. I am playing around with cartoon type sketches and colored this one. I think I want to add some eyelashes to the bee.

Looks great! The bee looks more finished than the elephant. Overall very professional looking talent with the airbrush I am guessing? Splendid stuff.

The color might use some clearer lighting, especially on the cart which is all uniform. Also, cast shadows from falling light.

A defined ground also might be good; right now the smooth background makes everything kind of floaty. A ground plane (with some more detail than just the cart, and with shadows) would greatly improve the perspective perception.

Also: to improve expression, try to think of the eyes as balls, not flat planes. They're called eyeballs for a reason.

Thank you for comments and critique. I followed the advice I received and improved it... I hope. Not too sure on my grass... Any suggestions?
    Thank you.

Thank you gzairborne, Misterpaint, arenhaus, Sandyg, RobertSWade... I have to say ArtRage people are some of the most helpful and friendliest on the net. Special thanks to arenhaus for the helpful critique.
