    Chisel tip brush

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL, just finished this still life (still praticing ) so open to any critique, I only used the paint brush and knife but found the pointed tip a little limited, is there any option ( hidden or otherwise ) for a chisel tip brush, or perhaps one of the senior users may know a work around. Incidently I have no problem with the present paint brush I think it works great, just would be nice to flatten the tip (maybe I am using it incorrectly?).

    Beautiful painting btw.

The artrage oil brush is definitely a round... not a flat brush. Sadly this is the way it is. There is no flat oil brush currently. Some folks do use the roller tool as an alternative. Unfortunately you cannot load the roller with thick paint like the oil brush. But I have seen some amazing work using the combination of the roller tool and the oil brush. Welcome. Really great first offering. Look forward to seeing more of your work.

    Many thanks

Thanks to the senior members for kind words and advice, I have tried the roller and it does work, just a pity that you cannot load with paint

Nice job Mike! I too was hoping for a 'flat' brush

    Chisel Tool

I'd like a chisel tool which kept it's angle. It'd be like what a calligrapher would use to create a script lettering style. If you were right handed, and drawing a circle, the stroke would be thin from 9 to 12, thickening from 12 to 3 where it'd be it's thickest, thinning down to 6, and thinning to it's thinnist at 9 again.

Or it'd be like Roman Trajan lettering.

    Or like a Speedball Pen.
