More brush options in ArtRage3 ?

I need to know if in ArtRage3 will be any improvements about BRUSHES? I mean an option to change the shape of the brush and possibility to adjust some parameters of the brush (others than scale) like in Photoshop and Painter? Thanks in advice.

What I would really like to see is the direction of the brush able to be locked in,
that is tha as one executes curves for example the brush retains its original orientation
First you learn patterns, then more patterns, finally you dance

Well they have mentioned that they are working on it, yes. But there's no telling how soon it will be before it comes out.

Most of the time it is better to buy software when you want it or need it.
Unless you know the exact date.

Most software developpers will honor an upgrade if you buy it a short time before the new version comes out. I'm not saying this is the case with AR.

Conclusion: Have fun with AR 2.5 we have no idea when AR 3 will be out.

When you buy Painter or Photoshop, a short time before a new version, you have spent a couple of hundreds euros/pounds/dollars.
Now just a few..Besides, any upgrades within a version are free.
Just say: "Rage It", because we already know it's art.

What I would like to see in Artrage 3(some of which were suggested by others):

    - Different brush shapes(flat, tapered, round, fan, etc.)
    - Blending brushes and stumps so you can make smoother blends without
    always using the knife
    - Different knife shapes
    - locking of brush angles to better paint things like water and tree trunks
    - New effects like liquid white which would make the oil colours blend and
    run more easily
    - A mixing palette window where you can mix your colours together and
make the colour mixes more realistic

Will those features be in the next version?

    Brush Shapes

Please add a selection in the Tool Settings Panel to allow for different brush shapes. Example would be flat and round brushes wherein pressure relates to opacity only (and not width). With the added ability to lock direction, a square brush would essentially become a fan brush. The Roller is still valuable so don't eliminate it.
