    Hi Bob, you are putting me on spot now

    Hi Graham, I am not sure if your question means technical part or how they collect all these favorites sites. But I am sure they have a web development team to design this site and do weekly web research. It's not just one man task, I guess. You can read on some articles on their site. http://www.allmyfaves.com/blog/weekl...sites-of-2007/ For technical part, to build something like this site, you may need few web programming language knowledge. Hope I answer your question. Or some other members can help you too. Some people already use this website as their home page.

    Ah but Pai, I have so much faith in you. I knew that you'd so know much more about how it was done than I do.

    It is pretty basic html using a table and hyperlinks.
    go to view>page source in your browser to see the html

    excerpt:

    <area shape="rect" coords="87,2,163,29" href="http://extratv.warnerbros.com/" target="_blank" alt="Extra" />
    <area shape="rect" coords="168,2,242,30" href="http://www.etonline.com/" target="_blank" alt="ETOnline" />
    <area shape="rect" coords="247,2,329,30" href="http://www.variety.com/" target="_blank" alt="Variety" />
    <area shape="rect" coords="333,2,369,30" href="http://www.usmagazine.com/" target="_blank" alt="US Magazine" />
    <area shape="rect" coords="374,3,453,30" href="http://www.ew.com/" target="_blank" alt="Entertainment Weekly" />
    <area shape="rect" coords="457,3,535,30" href="http://www.hollywood.com/" target="_blank" alt="Hollywood" />
    <area shape="rect" coords="538,2,617,30" href="http://digg.com/entertainment" target="_blank" alt="Digg Entertainment" />
    <area shape="rect" coords="622,2,699,30" href="http://entertainment.yahoo.com/" target="_blank" alt="Yahoo Entertainment" />

    It's very cool looking and a great idea to have your bookmarks so easy to get to.

    You can pretty much do it on a blog too or places with personal journals like Deviant art. But you wouldn't have the nice lined up rectangles that hold the logos.
