oil paint and marker Portrait
Trying to create a moody portrait using oils and markers.
WOW...outstanding portrait...Very well done..!!
Dear Radar, the only thing wrong with this painting is i don't see a signature, other wise, WOW, beautiful !!!, almost perfect, young fellow seems too young to have much of a moody attitude but i do detect a feeling of peace and happiness, great painting, face, background and all, love that little eyebrow hair out of place
This is a pensive portrait of someone who is deep in thought, his
eyes are the indicators. Extremely well painted!
wow that's so impressive great job you're by far a better artist than i could ever be
People will pay for portraits of this quality. Is it you?
Wow... not much to say here... speaks for itself.. fantastic.
Wow indeed! As a newcomer to all this, I wonder how you pull a painting like this off?
wow, beautiful work.. perfect.
Lee - thanks for the comment. I was trying to create a mood with the background and lighting. My reference model was not moody ...just bored.
Mairzie Dotes - Thank you, yes I worked hard on his eyes. He normally wears glasses and I asked him to take them off.
Lollipop Girl - thank you for looking at my picture and commenting.
RobertSWade - thank you for looking. Your paintings are so inspiring I really enjoy them. And no the portrait is not me. It is my son. He's my guinea pig.
Rob in Denver - Thanks, I have been a lurker on these forums for almost 9 months. But to afraid to post. I have mostly fooled around with PainterX and Photoshop. But Artrage just feels most like natural painting. Except I don't have to wash my hands as often or smell up the basement.
Avionart - thanks for commenting. Love your paintings too.
