    Moon Glow

This is a sketch of a picture I had in a dream.
It seems to need more. Any ideas or critiques will be appreciated

Dear Radar, what a lovely dream, almost as though it is not air and space but earthly and solid, a walkway to the moon, very pretty

    I agree with Lee; I am very interested of what people can dream, it seems that not evrybudy can dream in colors ;
as you say that is a sketch , you may let it like that but if you want to continue you have to stay with the image that you have in mind and try to do it better if you can but this is difficult , as the time pass dreams go away anyway.

    Thanks Dany51
Your right about the dream fading away. In this particular dream I was flying (kind of floating ) but capable of steering my way around and seeing very clearly. The clouds seemed like you could use one to get to another. Very cool.

I was just reading this and remember your painting:

You sometimes were a standing pedestrian,
    You strode under the moonlight
    without the footsteps.
Somestimes you hid in the shrubbery
And looked at the white sky above the head.
One person by yourself quietly entered into the temple
And listened to the sound from Heaven.

    Keep going.

I was inspired to this by your painting,
thanks again to jacktar and misterpaint/stencil for thier wonderful tools
although yours seems to remind me more of looking from an aircraft at night,
and you have got far better detail in your clouds than I can acheive yet

    Smile

I think this is interesting in that the shapes of the clouds evoke faces
to me, and the lighter elements seem like flying spirits. I always like
things that encourage imagination on the viewers part, and I think your
    painting is doing that.
I suppose the foreground clouds might want something to perk them up.
( I would like more suggestive clouds myself, but I never know when to quit
a good thing). More wispiness perhaps?
Perhaps part of the moon in sharper focus? ( the rest hazed by clouds?).
    A larger moon?
I am just throwing out ideas here, in hopes that something works for you.

I wish I had cool dreams, but mine are usually relentless and stupid things that drive me from my bed just so they will finally stop.....
I would like to see where you go with this painting. It makes me want to
do one along the same lines ( but I have children's book illustrations to do).
    Good luck on it!

On second look, maybe the foreground is plenty wispy already,
and a little (just a little) definition would help more.
