    Wich machine(s) you're working with ?

    Hi Folks,

Does anyone would like to show his (her) computer or the "machine" he's (she's) working with (photographies). Not to show off but just to have an idea about the "good" solution everyone work with..

    Please, show us... !

    Best,

Do you mean describe the PC/Mac you are using? I was not sure what you were asking for.

hmmm i be (like drzeller not sure what you want)...

but i give it a try:

I have bought this year a dell dual core desktop station. And i'm happy with it until now... only the graphiccard is bad...will upgrade to an ati radeon x1900 soon as possible. Artrage runs quite well and smooth up 3500px drawings...only airbrush & knife are really laggy

    DELL DIMENSION 5150:
    Intel Pentium D820 2.8Ghz Dualcore
    2Gb Ram
    160 Gb Harddisk
    ati x300 128mB (hypermemory 32 Mb in real..this sucks)

    Flatscreens:
    Dell 20" widescreen (16:10)
    &
    HP 1955 19" 4:3

As i said my wish for the future are a better graphic card and bigger screen about 24" or 30"
and of course a wacom cintig (dreaming)

Is this what you wont, weeks?

Whether this was what you were asking for, here it is:

    Mac G4.

    2 gb ram

    Wacom grapphire tablet 4x6.

Working paint large for print in ArtRage2, it tends to lag a bit. Still experimetning for max results.

No complaints drawing or working at lesser resolutions like video.

You see maror's pristeen set up? Looks almost etherial in it's virginal whiteness. See how like unto a blank canvas it is, just longing at the altar, waiting to burst forth creative realities from the least little seed of inspiration?

    See that?

Well, here's a picture for ya.

If his is like a virgin, mine's like an old whore. For Jacktar's benefit, it's like the underside of an old tramp freighter what never seed dry dock nor had a single barnacle scraped.

Past the clutter of coffee mugs and pens, books and disks, wires and cables, years old calendars cause I like the pictures, and scribbled notes of numbers and passwords to websites I only ever visited once, past the dust and cobwebs, there are more than a few notches on my desktop.

    I don't bring clients here

mine's an old AthlonXP 2000+ (underclocked to 1250Mhz due to the heat here)
    NForce2 motherboard
    1GB RAM
GeForceFX somethingorother (i don't play games)
    400GB of HDD
19" CRT Monitor that is half dead and has a horrible yellow shadow, really must replace it soon
    Wacom Graphire2 4x5"
    5 coffee mugs
    Nikon D50
just got a microsoft natural keyboard 4000 which is great, other than the huge amount of desk space it uses, it's really helping my RSI, i highly recommend one (except for them being a microsoft product)

    running gobolinux 012

i never knew i was so empty that i could be so full...

    Current config:

    AMD Athlon XP 1800+ (1.5GHz)
    512MB RAM
    Ancient ATI Radeon
    NEC 21" CRT
    Ancient MS Natural Pro
    Wacom Graphire (original series) 4x5

New config (arrives in a couple weeks):

    2 x 3GHz Dual-Core Intel Xeon processors
    2GB DDR2 RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT 256MB graphics card
    Same monitor
    MS Natural Ergonomic 4000
    Same tablet

After 20+ years of working with one sort of PC or another, I'm switching to OS X. I was just waiting for Ambient Design to start testing the universal binary, you see. (Kidding. Happy coincidence.) =)

My study is a mess as well. Will update this message with a photo after the Mac arrives.
