Thumbs up Concept Mugs are in! (regarding my Bird images)

    Hey everyone,

Some of you may remember me asking some questions about a few bird and flower images I have been working on. These images are being made for someone who will be using them as designs on products like mugs, towels, t-shirts, etc. If things work out, this will be the second time my artwork will have been used outside of my own personal use (my ArtRage walk-through tutorial was the first ). So anyway, on to the point of this post...

I just received a concept mug with my chickadee image on it and I thought I'd share it with all of you . All of the images I've made for this project were done almost primarily in ArtRage, with only small tweaks (using the liquify tool)and the circular fading (done with a group mask) being handled in Photoshop. The eye appears a little dark, so I'll be updating the image for that purpose, but other then that I think things look good. Here are the pictures I took:

To be honest, I'm a bit nervous about it all...

Congrats Someonesane! It looks amazing on the mug. It did before, but this is so great to have it used commercially. Hope you get royalties.

Congratulations with the commercial break trough. Your work has the potential. Hope you won't loose your artistic nerve over it! Color managment is a bitch. Trial-and-error, trial-and-error.... DoodLS
