    Landscape_I (updated oct 12-08)

    This is one of practising paintings awhile ago, just pick it up to get focus again. Only on one layer and mostly oil. I like to change things on reference. Don't know if it's good or bad. Hopefully will finish this soon. Any suggestion or comment welcome.

    Take care with your composition; in your reference photo, the dark shadowed wall on the lift is tilting the balance of the picture down and left, something to be avoided.

    The sky reminds me of El Greco.

    Thank you everyone for the encouraging words. This is not really a tutorial and I don't think I can contribute one yet because of my skill level.

    @Tector, thanks for your advice. Is that meant the left side is too dark?
