    @Hi Drayldan, you made me embrassed. there are more expertise members here which have terrific oil techniques, they will happy to provide you the help you need. I'm still learning how to control it not very good. As for the settings, I don't have a default one. All my paintings are used differently, mostly based on how feel of the painting and the I want the subject. But now I mostly start from very thin oil with high thinner like 90%, pressure 100%, loading 95% to 100% to do the sketch. Then I adjust these setting to by lower the thinner and increase the loading gradually. Final touch, I will use no thinner, with brush side 1% to do the edge and then use the palette knife. I hope it helps. But truly, I am not that good of it.
