    Imaginary Sardinia View

Since Rick is working with stunning result on a Tuscany superbly textured WIP, I would add a Sardinia view to continue my country's celebration, but more on the watercolour side!
It's a fully imaginary view based on my reminders!

Nice composition, Caesar. I think this is going to be a really nice view. Great start.

But you look hungry from all your hard work. Mair just brought some lunch, if you're hungry. Locally caught in that beautiful bay you're turning into reality.

Really funny. LOL. Looks like Mair's fishing for sardines!

Its going to be another gorgeous painting, Caesar.

Ive got to visit Italy soon--it seems so beautiful. And obviously so full of art and history.
The only problem with humor is that no one takes it seriously.

    Dear Caesar,
Though I don't often venture into this thread I did stumble on your
"in progress" painting. The soft water color effect is hinting at yet
another completed work of art that you will be proud of and we will
    be anxious to view. Lovely!

    P.S.
I seem to smell fish, in particular, Sardines. Have you hired D Akey to
to stock your new painting with action images of aquatic life or possibly
has Robert ordered a new Koi pond supply from our resident cowboy?

Thanks Scott, Mair and Albert, also for Your faith!

    FOR SCOTT'S HOLIDAYS
Sardinia has thousands of km of various and stunning beaches as well as an absolutely unique preistoric nuragic civilisation remains.
In Sardinia, apart the great snorkel fishing, they used to pick the most gorgeous coral types (now You can't anymore for preserving it). A pink type is called "angel's skin" (pelle d'angelo) and useless to explain any further!
The local (spiny) lobsters (aragosta), not common one with pincers (astice), are rare, but absolutely unique, for really rich guys now!
There's also a kind of seal in danger to disappear forever (we call it "nun seal" in Italian) and a unique vulture and the local mouflon.

I decided to proceed not along the purely watercolour-like painting (I'm still in time to go on that direction too). Here's how it's getting now. There's a faint hint now of how amazing the beach and the water transparencies are.

Did it Rick! On the gallery now; I wasn't able to do any better than what I did with my mind only and no particular technique!
