    sundown- first try with chalk

    This was kind of the second painting I did in ArtRage, nothing special, no deeper meaning, just trying to capture the mood of the sun setting...
    Again, I am afraid, it needs a little explanation:
    I once watched Bob Ross on TV doing a painting of the sun setting over the sea...this has stayed on my mind since then, and as I LOVE the sea, every once in a while I try something like it.. the sea, the sun, or both.
    As my first try in ArtRage using oil colours didn't work out as well as one try I once made with real colour on real canvas I tried a little one with chalks here.
    Lately, I also tried with oil once more, and I think it's much better now. But you'll see that one later

    Nice effect. The grain is really working for you here. Really feels like a pastel painting.

    well frist i expect a horizon somewhere, but there isn't
    disturbing (i'm more the realist) but cool...

    well I think it is noon, you are lying out tanning, looking straight up and you have on some pink sunglasses. I like it.
