    Tornado 2

    I made a bit of progress today. Still a long way to go, but its getting there.

    I like how that's developing. The brooding skies and the huge dark mass of the tornado are really menacing.

    There's something primal about that shape and scale of destruction. I had never actually seen one when living in the midwest, but I remember one night my parents getting me out of bed and taking me to the basement.

    I think that seeing my parents so concerned, they who were godlike to me as a small kid, it sorta grew even larger and rooted deep in my psyche as a random destructive force. Almost a Grimm's Fairy Tales, Wizard of Oz, baby-eating witch in stature to a small kid.

    So there she blows, by thunder -- the wicked witch with her inverted pointy black hat. Foul and heartless b#%@ch that she is.

    Should ultimately go in the monster thread, heh.
