I was going to post this in my sketches thread, but I think it fits here, eh?
weeun,
I feel moved to do what I can to bring a smile to this cute Apple's frown
and am wondering why it is so distressed? Could that symbol at the top
right of the canvas indicate a "cross roads" of sorts? Could this adorably
upset Apple who is tugging at my heart strings be experiencing a change
in it's life? Here's hoping that this pectin sweet pal hasn't crossed paths
with a ...Waring juicer for cripey sake! Sadly sweet, well executed
sketch and many thanks for posting.

Lib, What is a pocky??????
Alexandra,
Am I ever glad that you inquired because I have been also wondering.
I vaguely recall that there is a dance called the "Hokey Pocky" or was
it the "Jerky Pocky?" And what about "Pocky Dots?" I do have a
Pocky Dot blouse and ... isn't there a song ... "Pocky Mountain High?"
and ... NOT TO MENTION ... "Pocky Chops!"

Seasons gobble gobble dear Art Rageously culinary friends,
I like'em fresh and can't think of a more delicious meal than vittles that I
myself bagged on my rural hunting haunt, aptly named by we country folk
as "Buck Shot" road and .... how about it ....
am wondering if any of our members might have a "food with an attitude"
that might represent your favorite holiday eatum ups? We will feature
ANYTHING that can be considered even REMOTELY palatable ... even by
the furthest stretches of one's tongue's imagination.

That reminds me. . . I need to get 2 turkeys this year. One for the freezer.
Thank'y kindly, Ms Country Dotes!
Didn't you share one time about your having wild turkeys (not to mention Jack Daniels) wandering around your neighborhood. . . unsupervised?
Makes me fearful and want to protect them like my black cats on Halloween. Can't be all that Southern Comforting for them to know that flying South for the winter, to places where Thanksgiving is not celebrated like in the Bahamas, is nigh on impossible for them. Can they even fly without a ticket?
Anyway, most appetizing picture. . . for the holiday edition of Pilgrim's Process Magazine. I accept. THANKSGIVING PARTY AT MAIRZIE's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

D Akey,
What a small world. Heard you were on Buck Shot road huntin' fer
turkeys ... must-a missed ya over yonder.
Not sure if you will be able to bag two gobblers because my Pappy
and me just about cleaned out all back roads of feathered fowl jest
taday you betsha!
But no matter ... you are certainly welcome at my house for some
holiday fixin's and if ya please ... would like to know what yer taste
bud preferences are so's I can plan ahead for the feast ......
White meat or dark? Leg or thigh? I know, I know, ... these are
confusing times but Caesar might also show up for dinner and he
insists on the choicest, most tender cuts.

Me, I favor the loins of the turkey. You can give Caesar the wish bone. He being Italian, with their later wave of immigration it suits the scenario, I think.
Don't ya just love Pilgrim reenactments! Beats the Civil War fetish all to hell with their hoe cakes if they can get even that. Way better food.
