    A WIP and a Sketch

The first one (St. George and the Dragon) was resumed, advanced a little bit and the experimented coat of mail techniques are going to be used soon even if scales would be hard to simulate on a curve surface.
The second one is Sansone (on the Bible) killing a lion; I was curious to see the mane and the long hair confrontation during the fight.
They are both imagination only (no any whatsoever reference), so the first one would bit a little long to finish keeping it reasonably realistic. The second one too should i go futher on making it either a statue or a painting (still to be decided).
Suggestions and comments are much appreciated!

Like the angle on the St George one Caesar. Nice and 'coming atcha'. Should be very dynamic by the time you finish it.

I agree with Nick, and I also like Hercules and the Lion. Shows off his solid physique, especially his legs are most featured.

Thank You Nick! Honoured to have a positive comment by a real and sophisticate artist as You widely showed to be!
DA, it's a pleasure to learn You like both! Now I shall absolutely go on. The second one was not Hercules but Samson this time. It was interesting to confront the lion's mane and the man's long hair (whence he got his strength according to God's promise). Still to be decided if it shall be continued as a b&W drawing or a colour painting. :?:
