Welcome! Your graduated shading in the sky is well done and colour combination is very pleasing.

I agree :)
You found a nice blue I think, it looks like prussian blue, which I pretty much 'always' use when I use real paint. I love that color.

Thank you for your coments.
to fantasyshades: for the blue I used a metallic paint. It wasn't really on purpose but I thought it looked quite good so I kept it that way. Glad you liked it.

This is a great thread.....
I had fun seeing all of these, but don't think I could finish a quick sketch or a outline of a picture, little alone a painting in 30 mins......
I applaud you all!
Hi James and Eighty....and
everyone else who posted
these fun paintings!

This was the first project I did with the program after about a hour of using it. In total this took about 25 mins or so. And I was just testing out the presets.. so this is NOT hand drawn! I hope to be putting up some of my works in the near future now that I have a grasp on the basics of the program.

PS - So good to see Hanzz here..

Hello catAnnoyed and welcome to the ArtRage forums :)
Yes, I know 30min at times isn’t as long as you think it’s going to be when painting!
It’s sort of the painting equivalent of the short story. You really need to focus on the essentials of what you want to convey.
But I think you’ve done really well with both these two paintings.
Love the feeling of the low misty clouds in a mountain forest in the first one.:cool::cool:
