I've no precise plan, idea of the tools to use, type of style nor use I any reference picture or image of any kind.
I just hope my inner sight will be appropriately inspired step by step, serendipity put some unexpected improvement and and some natural skill will be enough to avoid or correct mistakes.
This is really faith!!!!

I think this is a very interesting approach to creating a picture. The shapes look proportional so you're ahead of the game.

Looks good, Caesar!

:D :D :D

I had only reduced time to progress a little on it. :(
It requires more time when You have to figure out it in Your imagination only and then see what the subject development interactively tells You to do. (in other words not copying at all) :?
The two figures needs some more touches the baby in particular) and St. Joseph is still at "phantom" stage but You may start having a clearer idea (apart some kind of surprise I would like to insert to go beyond "manierism").
So anyone who had faith that some little miracle could help me producing aan honest proposal (including myself), can still keep his faith on some more ground than just for friendship (eh, Bob and DA?). :)
Comments are always welcome howebver even if I cannot grant to have the necessary capability to improve accordingly. :?:
By the way. How can a GIF (animated) painting be made? :?:
