Hi everyone. This is my first contribution to the Art Supplies. I decided to upload these as I thought it could be of interest for some people.

Using the principles of the golden mean while planning your piece can sometimes make the layout more interesting. I created a set of stencils with a grid that divides the frame in 9 parts for the most common aspect ratios:

* 3x2 which is the aspect ratio often used in photography
* 4x3 which is the normal aspect ratio of computer screens
* 16x9 which is the wide-screen aspect ratio

Landscape/portrait as well as inverted versions are included.

I created these stencils using the vector graphics software Inkscape.

To install: Either copy these png-files inside your
"...\Art Rage 2.5\Resources\Stencils\Custom\" folder, or if you want, make a new folder named "Golden Mean" and put them inside:
"...\Art Rage 2.5\Resources\Stencils\Golden Mean\", depending on where you want to access them inside the stencils menu.

Naming conventions: I put the number that corresponds to the width first, then the number that corresponds to the height. The files with an "i" at the end of the name are inverted.

Good luck with your layout planning.
