View Full Version : The Angel Squid

High above the Azifran island, the enormous Angel Squids congregate during the dawn and soar in lazy circles as the sun sets. When the air starts to cool, they return to the sea, often dropping from the sky and making a huge splash that can be heard from miles; some say they do this for fun.

The best way to observe them is via atmospheric balloon, as you can get very close without disturbing them.

It's also been said that if you tickle them, they sometimes expel a shower of pearls. Of course this may be just a rumor...

This one was very fun to plan and execute... It was also a good opportunity to try the stencil option (and I love it!) I'm not quite sure yet but, this painting may be in the same world as the one in the Cyclopean Squid image I posted a long time ago... I bet he lives down there under the spiral cloud to the left.

I made up my mind and the next painting will be about the Day of the Dead.

Have a nice day! :D

I LOVE the story too! Such a reality you've created!

I will have to try tickling a squid sometime. I love it.

You are very strong with this warm palette too. A really remarkable control of color I've noticed in your work. Over time it keeps showing up. Tremendous.

:D :D :D
