I'm now in the process of upgrading from a Toshiba Tecra M4 (which has become a little tired, thanks to the serious pressure I place it under!) to something more powerful.

My shortlist comprises these three machines:

Toshiba Portege M700
Fujitsu LifeBook T5010
Asus R1E

I'm getting a sponsored Asus, and also, possibly, a sponsored HP 2730p, and I'll report back to the ArtRage community how they fare.

wow Roy, great to see you taking it to the professional level... and assuming the facilitation work is still going good for you too? Congrats on getting some sponsored stuff too. That is way cool! It would be great to see one of your live demos. :)

Yeah! I'm really happy with how this is all panning out! I'll be popping my tv work on YouTube when we start the sessions in October. Looking forward to that! Thanks for this comment.

Thanks Lee! I reckon artists now have the ability to earn a really good living doing what they love. And ArtRage takes us all to a new level. I figure that sharing my knowledge opens this field up even more. The more, the merrier!
