Well, well, it happened again. I've doodled until the point that I liked it and now think it's worth showing, while I'm not ready with it... not sure how soon I can continue, but here's a new WIP...

OH, and I made a little stencil for it, actually! It's a leafy stencil, but I just made it after the fact, which means there are still a lot of way too fine brush stipples that create those arbitrary tree leaves...not happy about it. The stencil is, however, very promissing and I might continue to explore how to make even more versatile stencils for it... while I'm still hoping that the oil brush will become more powerful to not needing such a stencil! To me it is amazing. I would be very content as is... can't wait to see what you will do to it. Great job.

Dank in the open air. What a mood!

I really like the tree bark in the large version. I can hear it now, "Wood. . . wood."

OH WOW, hmmm... guess I almost forgot about that one and now such a beautiful amount of response!!! THANK YOU ALL! Well...darned...

I didn't find the proper moment to continue with this one. Normally I don't let up or at least don't start anything else before I'm done with an image, but in this case I had visitors for a few days and with my work and all it's tough to do anything more involved right now anyway. This image is SCREAMING to be worked out in more interesting ways (to me!) and now I'm letting it starve, so hungry and eager to grow.... horrible.

Anyway, thank you all once again and as soon as I can I will pick it back up. Strange for me, but I'll try! :!:

Wonderful, absolutely fantastic. Light and perspective really feed my imagination.

I also think like I learned something about contrast - thanks :-)
