Here's my go... This was a quickie...(And as an added challenge to myself, I painted it without zooming in. :)

That was fun.

This was harder than I expected it to be. The oil brush and the palette knife were harder to control at this size but it was still fun. :)

You are so right, it is hard to keep control.
This was harder for me than painting a mural.
So heres my effort......
took longer than I am willing to admit. LOL

These are ALL great, nice sea foam there Rain! And yes, LH, love the landscape, Taron... what detail.. did you cheat?? That eye is fantastic! Tagwa.. how peaceful... and yes, all the rest, they are wonderful!!! I like the idea these are small so you don't have to work too hard at them (like Taron :D)... but they are all unique.. the giger stripes (Vincent), Shirly's landscapes and the flowers... Gina's FL Palm tree (or is that California or Arabia??)... i just think ALL of these are great... but I have to say my fav goes to Rioz... wow, how'd you get that guy in such a small space? Is it a sumo wrestler trying to get out of a box? That is AWESOME!!!! Time to try!

Gee that was fun! :) Sorry Lee I didn't realize I had stolen your idea until I looked closer. Perhaps it registered subliminally because I liked yours so much? :)

Aw c'mon Rick! We want the full bottle of wine, wine glass, bowl of fruit and table top. And keep it at 100 x 100. You can do it buddy. :)

I thought I'd have a go at this thread as it seemed like a brilliant idea! It's amazing how limited you are at that size...

Anyway...here's my effort...not the best drawing I've ever done, but it fulfills the task!

very cool. I had forgotten about this thread. Stefano reminded me of it.
Some of these would make very cool avatars. :)

Wow, thanks for digging up this thread! There's something about miniatures that is irresistible.

PS This is my cat, who is currently napping on the arm of the chair.

this is a wonderful thread!! real little masterpieces in here !
i am fascinated because, right now i have a A1 masonite which ive given a base coat of grey acrylic and i'm spending more time than usual, staring at it deciding what to create. if i took the scale-up route from a drawing, the size wouldn't matter but i'm feeling like i going to begin something more gestural and improvised andd the size is inhibiting me on this occasion.

i'm pleased to view this thread. it's reminding me that a vital shape and density of composition can come from tiny sources!
