I love the floating tendrils, and the way you created a sense of depth underwater...

Intriguing concept. Has me roaming around your painting like I'm searching the depths of the colorful past in a clear, not at all murky environment. I feel the love of science from this painting.

D Akey: My references actually came from watching the Planet Earth documentary(science)......I paused the video and tried to capture what I want. This is part of Angels and Demons but is linked an indirect..convuluted way that I didnt mention it. ......... cheers mate :D

Hi Enchanter,

What a stunning piece. I love it. It makes me think of Little Mermaid and Finding nemo...all kinds of animations about the sea. The underwater lighting and reflection is so well painted. So much to see in this painting. Excellent one!! :D :D

That's a great scene. It's full of interesting detail. I love all the hairy bits and flowing weeds.
