Group layers

Is there a way to select more then 1 layer ?

Would like to group a few layers.
Only way I have found is to make the group then drag each layer into the group.

No, sadly what you've been doing is the only way:(:(:(
I believe multiple layer selection has been asked for before, so maybe one day…

As I'm getting my bearings again ... guess I'm coming up against some of the stuff that kept me from using AR more often.
