Lovely work! I really liked how you made the eyes separate like dogs do. Did you use a reference photo? If so, is this your dog?

Thankyou ukyo895. No this is not my dog. Some of my paintings are of dogs and cats belonging to me, my family and friends. I always paint from a reference - I wouldn't trust my memory for the details. I use a background that differs from the reference picture.
