When the point and hold color picker is activated, each of the following often occurs
1) The color pick symbol stays visible for several seconds after a color has been selected
2) The color picker will appear repeatedly.
It seems that the picker should appear only after a 1/2 - 3/4 second delay, possibly user adjustable
