brand new trouble

I'm on a MacBook pro / OS Montery. I've just found that the Artrage file that I have been working on for about a week, when converted to photoshop, will not open in photoshop because it says "This file is not compatable with this version of photoshop". I tried to open in both PS 2022 and 2020 but no go.

I have been easily exporting and going back and forth from Artrage to PS for years. This is brand new. Any ideas would be most helpful.

Which version of AR are you using?
Is it just this one PSD file exported from ArtRage that is not opening for you in Photoshop?
If you open a different AR painting and export it to PSD, dose it too then fail to open in Photoshop?
Have you tried opening the problem PSD file in any other graphics app? Affinity Photo, Pixelmator, etc… for example to see if it fails there too?
