The existing implementation for comparing layer blend node effects to access each setting via a the three step menu - two steps to the settings list a nd another click to activate & view the effect. This must be repeated for each setting; painfully tedious & difficult to compare settings. I suggest the approach that is implemented in Photoshop, Painter, Rebelle & Topaz Studio2: In the list of settings allow the user to scroll through the list and view each blend mod effect as each is highlighted in the list.
