Message displayed after awakening from sleep

OS: Big Sur v11.5 (M1 chip)

Description: After awakening from sleep a 'ArtRage is busy' message was displayed which persisted until app closed and reopened.

Just to add to this thread, I had the following message after waking from sleep. When I tried to save the file it crashed everything and restarted the Mac with an option to send a report to Apple (which I did).

I still haven’t encountered this issue on my Mac. It might be OS version specific possibly, I’m still running 10.14.6.
If you could send the crash report to Ambient Design, with an explanation as to what has been happening, steps leading up to it etc… that would be good. Andy quite likes solving crashes I think!
You can find the Crash Report for this event by opening the Console app; Applications > Utilities > Console.

In Console, in the left sidebar go to User Reports to show the list of recent app crashes.
In the main body of the window, click once on the relevant event to highlight it.
Then from the window’s menu bar click Share, and from the popup choose Mail.
This opens a new eMail, containing the crash report.
And send to: [email protected]

Just a quick update (v7.1.3) to say I have had 'busy' message stuck on screen again as before, but this time after switching between apps.
