Is there a shortcut gesture to sample color?

Is there a way to pick a sample color from the canvas in the iPad version without having to click on the color picker tool and then clicking back on the brush?

I believe sampling without using the Sampler tool is possible, the online manual certainly seems to suggest that, but it needs to be turned on in the app’s preferences first.
