Hi everybody,

I am looking for ideas about how to adjust my custom brush. I would like to create traces similar to those made with a clay scraper. https://www.amazon.fr/plastique-grattoir-sculpture-bricolage-c%C3%A9ramique/dp/B07Z83LSFB

That scraper can creates serrated shapes of parallel lines or "rainbows".

I thought with a line of dots and settings it would be ok. Now I doubt it.

Would you have ideas about how to create such shapes and adjust settings?

Thank you!

Hello Claudine,
Yes, you’re right, a line of dots for the brush head would do it.
As for the different settings within the brush, that’s a matter of trial and error to see what works for you.

As I was feeling curious I had a little experiment this morning, the results of which are in the link below.
They may or may not actually prove useful to you, but they are what they are!
(Although they are not needed for the ARPack to work, I’ve also included the images I used for the brush heads so you can see what they look like more easily and perhaps give you ideas for your own experiments).

You can use a custom brush in eraser mode, dial down opacity to the right level, and you can actually scrape away paint!
