There used to be a chocolate-covered caramel years ago called Fantails. Maybe you knew them too!

This little bird is just as sweet. ;)

I'm not much of a bird watcher, but I don't believe they're local to me?

But she's a right coquette with that fan tail. Could come in handy on hot days and for flirting.

The bird is local to me but I thought the sweets (candy) might be known elsewhere.

Not around me I'm afraid. Sounds like candy (sweets) one grew up with in Australia, like JuJuBes and Junior Mints and Milk Duds and all the movie concession stand stuff that I loved.

Actually the sweets were named 'Fantales' not Fantails' - my mistake. :o The wrappers contained fan information about various movie stars - hence the name.
