How to achieve a watercolor painting like this?

Hi guys.. Im new to digital painting and have zero real life painting experience. I've achieved some nice results using paint tube and palette knife but am struggling to achieve a watercolor painting similar to this one. Can someone point me to a tutorial(s) that will help me paint something similar?

If you haven’t already found them, AR users Steve B and Someonesane have some good tutorials for techniques in recreating a traditional watercolour look which are worth a look.
