Interesting choices. I see vulnerability, joy, determination, centered confidence, and bravado borne of desperation.
I absolutely love the use of bold strokes on the neck of the woman in the upper most portrait.

Yes, all from references, can't afford models:D
Sources are varied(all online) but I don't intently seek them usually I'm browsing or reading articles and something catches my eye about the face in a picture....The Liv Tyler one is just because I've had a massive crush on her since my teenage days when I first saw her in an aerosmith music video :rolleyes:
