Hi,
I would like to know if it is possible to get from art rage the same effect as Corel Painter Acrylic brush which doesn’t load a lot of paint BUT enables to blend the paint in the same stroke.

Here is a link of that guy who uses it brilliantly this way and explains the process in this first minute video.
You should take a look at it ;)

If so, please tell me if it is possible and if so, how!

kind regards,

The oil brush will do that. Set it to low loading and high thinners for a short smooth stroke without a lot of bristle effects, and then just scrub away.

Actually, any of the 'wet' media brushes (pastel, watercolour, oils, felt pen, paint roller) will let you mix and blend paint if you set them to a low loading and/or high wetness, but the results will look different for each. You can also just play with the palette knife (the Flat and Edge ones let you load paint at the start of the stroke as well).

The Custom Brush would also let you get an effect like this; try the 'Blender' presets, or go to the Color settings and turn 'pickup color' on, and then experiment with different pickup and refresh rates. But just using the oil brush would probably be the easiest :D
