So nice seeing your lovely animals again! Beautiful. :):):)

I personally have no problem with the background. It works like a photographer's studio backdrop, which of course really features the subject. Similar to this principle for portrait photography. I'm attaching this photo of a photographer's set up showing you that what you've done is not bad at all in concept of how to focus the attention on the fox, even though yours implies the out of doors. It effectively serves a similar function.

Got the pic from: http://vukelichphoto.com/blog/2015/11/30/how-to-make-an-oliphant-style-canvas-backdrop

Thank you Justjean, Enug, D Akey for your kind comments they are much apreciated, its great to be back, its been a hectic 18mths.
No 1 last year my eyesight returned so made the most of it because we didn't know if it would last, Docs are puzzled with the xrays as the damage is repairing, all we can think of is I have had more Curries with added termaric the super spice. No 2 earlier this this year I was diagnosed with cancer, I have had and finished treatment now and all clear, fingers crossed. Painting was not on my mind, everything during this time it went on hold. Now hopefully I am back to carry on what I enjoy for relaxation painting. I just need subjects.

Thank you Jayd, all the digital works I have done are on here, I have only ever used Artrage.

oh, sorry about that--I have been away awhile too and have been inactive on the forum. I traditionally work in colored pencil in the real world but I mix and match software on the computer but artrage is always the starting point for my pieces. The pencils are the only ones I can get to match my traditional process. I will make an effort to look for all of your work. I love animal pieces.

Holy mackerel!!!! Is that dramatic enough to make life interesting or what? It sounds like you're doing very very very well. So excited for you. So does it look like you'll keep your vision for the "foreseeable future"? Getting your vision back and holding back cancer. Awesome awesome awesome. . .

Go Saphire!!!!!!!!!

D Akey, up to now (touch wood) my eyesight is nearly back to where it was 15-20 years ago just needing glasses. The doctors wanted me to keep a diary of my food intake and termaric spice was high on the list of ingredients. The docs are amazed, its as if the bad cells at the back of the eyes have had a sudden injection of fertaliser. At first I was told it might not last but the latest xrays show a masive improvement. My lovely husband bought me a car for Christmas to celebrate. I had a great time in it for about two weeks before I was given the news I had Cancer! fortunately I had caught it early enough to be treatable so in April it was removed. I finished all treatments a few weeks ago and given the all clear I am now classed as a walking miracle.
I have done a lot of reading on all the superspices the last 12 months and Termaric is high on the list for oxygenate the blood. I told a few friends and they laughed but one gave it a try and managed to get it in pill form and she swears by it. Her athiritis has nearly gone and her cateracts have improved she cant praise it enough. Its the big 70 for me next year its as if I have been given a new lease of life. Lol!

i was vegan for a while and was doing fine, switched to vegetarian (ovo) and ok then my devil wife led me back to the meat wagon and i started getting sick again so I have gone back to vegan....

I think there is a lot to what you are saying about Tumeric. I added it back to my diet ...I sprinkle it on everything and I seem to be getting better myself.

D--I am on the hunt for Saphire's work today--there will be comments. :-)
