Bleding watercolor brush

Hi there!
I was wondering if anyone has a bleding watercolor brush? I was painting in paint tool Sai today, and the watercolor brush blends so beautifully.
And none of the watercolor brushes in Artrage manage to replicate that, nor does that AirBrush. I provided a picture of the waterbrush I used in Sai.
I really don't want to keep switching programs.
So if anyone has it for Artrage, I would really appreciate it!

That doesn't look anything like watercolors, so definitely don't try that tool :D

That does look exactly like the Airbrush with 95%+ Hardness (and possibly some customized stylus settings, e.g. pressure = hardness). The Hardness setting isn't in all versions, so I'll need to know what edition you're in to be completely helpful. The Custom brush (in AR5) can look like that as well, with a circle head.

I use Artrage 5! And the brush I showed was watercolor in paint tool Sai. I tried it with the airbrush, but didnt have the same effect I wanted to achieve sadly. I havent played around with the custom settings too much yet, because I have no clue how it works hehe.

Awesome, ArtRage 5 means you can play around with the custom brush and all the Airbrush options.

Watch this video to start, it walks you through all the Airbrush settings. Anything the Airbrush does, the custom brush can do as well, but you might not need to go there yet.

If you want to use the custom brush, you probably just want to load a very simple circle head from the defaults (a hard circle is probably best, but you can try a soft circle as well) and play around.

use the custom brush tool and make your own preset with a circular brush nib — or, better, transfer your .psd files between artrage and sai, as you won't get the same tool replicated precisely.
artrage blending behaves quite differently from other packages, and airbrush tool doesn't have blending quality to it at all, it relies on glazing-style paint application.

(this is what I currently do, except with clip paint studio instead of sai, we don't have that app on mac os.)
