Eraser option for Brushes

I'd love to see a simple check box in the options for each brush that allows the brush to remove color in the same pattern as the chosen brush instead of laying down color....like the clear option in Photoshop...For example so I could erase color from a layer with a grainy pencil or an airbrush...
