Daikoku

Finished version of Daikoku, for the Artrage 5 contest. Daikoku is a Japanese deity, although he originates from India as Shiva (or Mahakala). He has many forms in Buddhism, and is essentially an incarnation of God in Hinduism. In Shinto-Buddhism, he has a minor role the god of rice and cereal, and hence is depicted in this illustration sitting on two bales of rice.
