Hello again!

It is not readily apparent to me how to deselect a pen preset. Can someone point this out to me? Thank you!

Hello Riuniti
Forgive me if I’ve misunderstood your question…
Deselection is automatic as soon as choose a different preset or you alter any of a tool's Settings.
For example;
Select the Felt Pen preset; “Hard Tip”, and then, if it's not open already, open the tool's 'Settings Panel' and you will see the name of the preset shown at the top of the ‘Settings Panel’.
Now if you change any of the settings for that preset, it’s name will be replaced with the words; “No Preset”, as effectively you have “deselected” that preset in favour of the tool settings adjustments you just made.
To get the preset back, select it again from the ‘Presets Panel’.

Thank you markw -

You understood me correctly, and I did figure it out when I change any of the settings of the preset, it becomes deselected. I was looking for a button of sorts to "deselect" or turn it off to get to no preset, but none exists.
