Meaning of "Adjust Scale for '2-in-1' Tablet Mode"?

Hi folks, I'm kinda new.

I've searched for info on the following but got nada.

Can someone help me with the meaning of "Adjust Scale for '2-in-1' Tablet Mode". This is a check-able option (not checked by default) in the ArtRage Preferences > Advanced Preferences section (ArtRage 4.5.10 64bit running on an HP EliteBook touchscreen notebook/pen-enabled tablet)?

This enables support for the Windows 10 tablet mode that lets you switch between touch and mouse/keyboard interfaces. If you don't use this on your device, just leave it off.

Thanks HannahRage. I tried it switched on both in and out of tablet mode and I can't see a difference. I'm just leaving it off for now.
