Nice. I find it interesting that he decided to work off a grid when they have the tracing feature. But to each his own. Also noticed that he moved the iris of the eye which shows him stepping back and assessing the progress which is a good thing always. Shows his not tracing (I think).
Interesting technique. I don't personally work that way, but there is a logic to his method and the results are really nice. I find that this generation of digital painters do a lot of things I never did using traditional methods. And they work. So it's very cool to see.
