...grow on silver trees, of course. I was going to draw silver spoons, but that would have taken me a lot longer than the 5 or so minutes I allowed myself to play today.

Grain: default
Roughness: 0%
Scale: 0%
Opacity: 100%
Metal: 100%
Color: Black

Paint Roller, default settings
White paint
Palette Knife

Thanks for playing with me,

Hey G! This is cool. Like painting with quicksilver. :D

Thanks Fashmir, it was loads of fun. The bark came out looking a little, err.. furry, but whatever. =]

its like yu picked up a whole tree, and made a mould out of silver

*giggle* I think that might be more of a feat for Fashmir's mighty and majestic African animals than for me, Enchanter, but it's certainly an interesting idea! Odd how the mention of a mould suddenly made me think of sweets. Mmmm... caaaandy. Thanks for looking!

Oooo, I like that. Silver etching. Or silver carving.
Very cool.

It is wonderful.
Is that quick completion?
A work was seen, and it hit upon the next idea.
Thank you justG.

this is neat, looks more like it was done with a 3d program rather than 2d! :D

Watta great effect, and I love the big old tree.
Lately I've been dotting the canvas with thick paint and then carving out sections. I've yet to come up with anything I'd post, but it's fun to do. The effect is similiar to this but without the metalic look.

Thanks for looking, everyone, and for your comments. hype, that was probably part of its appeal for me. "Cutting" into the silver with the palette knife felt a little like "moulding clay" (aka modeling) in ZBrush and trueSpace. cym, my creative expression is limited, so I'm probably not as discriminating as I should be when it comes to what I should actually post publicly and what I shouldn't. I'm just happy and grateful to have an environment where I don't feel pressured to make such decisions. =]

Well It may not be a silver spoon, but I just want to swoon, while setting under that silver "Maple" perhaps?
